Our Story: From Parental Struggle to Creative Solution

Fun Design Pal® started in a living room, not a lab. Like many parents, our founders often struggled to balance work, chores, and quality time with their young children. They wanted to encourage their kids’ creativity, but between setup, cleanup, and the occasional frustration over “not drawing it right,” art time sometimes felt more stressful than joyful.

One afternoon, watching their child light up while playing with a simple robot toy, they wondered: What if a robot could help kids draw? Not to replace their creativity, but to inspire it?

That spark led to months of prototyping, testing with little hands, and listening to feedback from families. The goal was clear: create a device that was safe, simple, and genuinely engaging — something that would make kids want to create, not just watch.

And so, Fun Design Pal® was born: part assistant, part playmate, and all about empowering the next generation of makers.
